Controller and contact

The controller for this website is Raoul Picconi. For privacy questions, rights requests, or processor information for the current deployment, contact me@raoulpicks.com.

What the website processes

  • Requests and security logs: data needed to serve pages, protect the site, diagnose abuse, and deliver downloads, such as request metadata handled by hosting and delivery infrastructure.
  • Reliability telemetry: browser and server error diagnostics sent through Sentry when the integration is enabled. RecKit configures the SDK with default PII sending disabled.
  • Optional analytics: aggregate website measurements through Umami only after analytics consent is granted through cookie preferences.
  • Direct messages: information you choose to send when you contact RecKit for support, privacy, or product questions.

Purposes and legal bases

RecKit uses necessary website and security processing to operate the site, keep downloads available, and protect the service. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website and, where relevant, steps requested by a visitor.

Optional analytics are used only after consent to understand website usage and improve product communication. Consent can be withdrawn from Cookie preferences at any time. Messages sent to RecKit are processed to answer the request and keep the related correspondence.

Recipients and transfers

Website data may be handled by infrastructure and service providers used for hosting, error monitoring, analytics when enabled, email, and release delivery. The actual processor list depends on the production deployment.

If a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, RecKit relies on the transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards made available for that processor where required.

Retention

The cookie preference cookie lasts six months. Optional analytics, hosting logs, error reports, and support correspondence are kept only for the configured provider retention period or as long as needed for the purpose, security, dispute handling, and legal obligations.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection for personal data connected to you. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier processing.

You can also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Italy, that authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Automated decisions

This website does not use automated decision-making or profiling to make legal or similarly significant decisions about visitors.
